As a Registered Nurse Practitioner for over 20 years in the San Francisco Bay area, K.C. Esperance, an infertility specialist in solo private practice graduated from San Francisco State University in 1979 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She subsequently entered the Harbor General/UCLA Nurse Practitioner Womens Health Program, graduating in 1981, and returned to obtain her second Nurse Practitioner in Adult Medicine in 1996.

As a Nurse Practitioner, she has the ability to diagnose, treat, and prescribe medicine. Nurse Practitioners provide the same services as a physcian, with the exception of surgery.

Over the past 20 years, she has launched the San Francisco Bay area chapters of the Endometriosis Association, lectured extensively in the U.S., Mexico, and Europe on the subject, and is currently writing a book on Infertility called " A Womb With A View: Memoirs of an Infertility Specialist ". ( maintaining complete patient confidentiality ). The book is a unique memoir of her personal and professional experiences with infertility.

She offers her patients individualized treatment with attention to detail, maintains the highest standard of technology, as well as providing valuable psychological and educational aspects of medical care.
